1. Russia will build at least 12 nuclear reactors in India by 2035 and agreed to manufacture advanced helicopters as both countries signed 20 pacts in oil, gas, defence, investment and other key sectors to further ramp up their strategic cooperation.
रूस 2035 तक भारत में कम-से-कम 12 परमाणु रिएक्टर लगाएगा और उसने अत्याधुनिक हेलीकाप्टरों के विनिर्माण पर भी सहमति भी जताई है। दोनों देशों ने कुल मिलाकर अपने रणनीतिक सहयोग को और गति देने के लिये तेल, गैस, रक्षा, निवेश और अन्य प्रमुख क्षेत्रों में 20 समझौतों पर हस्ताक्षर किए।
2. India’s economic growth is expected to improve to 6.3 per cent in 2016 with the country leading economic recovery in South Asia, according to a United Nations report. The UN World Economic Situation and Prospects 2015 (WESP) report also said India is likely to make progress in implementing economic policy reforms and help provide support to business and consumer confidence.
राष्ट्र संघ की एक रपट के अनुसार भारत की अर्थिक वृद्धि 2016 तक बढ़ कर 6.3 प्रतिशत तक पहुंच सकती है और यह दक्षिण एशिया में आर्थिक स्थिति में सुधार में प्रमुख भूमिका निभाएगा। ‘संयुक्त राष्ट्र वैश्विक आर्थिक स्थिति एवं अनुमान’ 2015 (वेस्प) रपट में कहा गया है कि भारत आर्थिक नीति में सुधार लागू करने और कारोबार एवं उपभोक्ता विश्वास को समर्थन प्रदान करने की दिशा में प्रगति कर सकता है।
3. The Union Cabinet approved to establish a Credit Guarantee Fund for Factoring for MSME units. The corpus of the Fund is Rs.500 crore. Assuming a leverage of 5 times of the corpus, gross factoring transactions would cover Rs.20,000 crore per annum at the end of fifth year. The corpus is estimated to be Rs.492 crore at the end of fifth year. In third year of operations, a mid-term review of the Fund may be undertaken and propose modifications if any.
केन्द्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने सूक्ष्म, लघु और मध्यम उद्यम इकाईयों के कारखाने के लिए एक ऋण गारंटी निधि की स्थापना को अपनी मंजूरी दे दी। यह निधि 500 करोड़ रुपये से शुरू की जाएगी। इस निधि में पांच गुना वृद्धि के अनुमान के साथ पांच वर्ष के अंत में इसकी कुल लेनदेन प्रतिवर्ष 20,000 करोड़ रुपये हो जाएगी। पांचवें वर्ष के अंत में इस निधि के 492 करोड़ रुपये होने का अनुमान है। संचालन के तीसरे वर्ष में निधि की एक मध्यावधि समीक्षा करके किसी प्रकार के सुधार के प्रस्ताव दिए जा सकते हैं।

A Guarantee Agreement for World Bank (IBRD) lending of US $ 1100 million to the Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation India Ltd (DFCCIL) for Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor-II Project (EDFC-II) has been signed between the Government of India and the World Bank. Shri Tarun Bajaj, Joint Secretary (MI), Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance signed the Agreement on behalf of Government of India and Mr. Onno Ruhl, Country Director, World Bank, signed the same on behalf of the World Bank.
