1. India has improved its rating on global corruption index. India has showed some improvement in addressing corruption this year, ranking 85th among 175 countries as against 94th last year, graft watchdog Transparency International India (TII).

2. According to Finance Minister Arun Jaitley the e-Visa facility will be implemented at eight major airports of the country but will not be extended to the airports where security concerns are involved.

4. India and Japan decides to cooperate in the fields of Cyber security and Green ICT (Information & Communication Technology). Ministry for Communication and Information Technology (MCIT) in India and Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communication (MIC, Japan will coordinate the activities for taking these projects forward by involving industrial partners in both the countries. They will aim towards implementation of these joint projects by early 2015.

For semi-closed PPIs with full KYC. the limits have been raised from Rs 50,000 to Rs 1,00,000. The balance in the PPI should not exceed Rs. 1,00,000/- at any point of time.
