• US aviation manufacturer Boeing has delivered the sixth P-8I maritime patrol aircraft to India on schedule, a media release has said. The P-8I, which is part of a contract of eight awarded in 2009, arrived at Naval Air Station Rajali to join five others being used by the Indian Navy.
  
  अमेरिकी विमान निर्माता कंपनी बोइंग ने छठा पी-8आई नौवहन गश्ती विमान भारत को सौंप दिया है। पी-8आई वर्ष 2009 में किए गए उस अनुबंध का हिस्सा है, जिसमें ऐसे आठ विमान सौंपे जाने का करार हुआ था। यह विमान भारतीय नौसेना द्वारा इस्तेमाल किए जा रहे अन्य पांच विमानों के साथ शामिल होने के लिए नौसेना के हवाई प्रतिष्ठान राजाली पहुंच गया।

  38वें नेशनल गेम्स की मेजबानी के लिए भारतीय ओलंपिक संघ(आईओए) ने पांच सदस्यीय कमेटी गठित कर दी है। उत्तराखंड को 2018 में होने वाले 38वें नेशनल गेम्स की मेजबानी का मौका मिल सकता है।
   
• Former Supreme Court judge C.K. Prasad is set to be appointed as the next Chairperson of the Press Council of India. Information and Broadcasting ministry sources said Prasad has been selected by a committee headed by Vice-President Hamid Ansari yesterday and a communication has been received in this regard. Prasad will succeed justice Markenday Katju as the Chairman of the PCI.
  
  जस्टिस मार्कंडेय काटजू की जगह प्रेस काउंसिल आफ इंडिया के नए चेयरमैन जस्टिस सीके प्रसाद बनाए जाएंगे। सुप्रीम कोर्ट के पूर्व न्यायाधीश सीके प्रसाद का प्रेस काउंसिल ऑफ इंडिया के नए प्रमुख के रूप में चयन उप राष्ट्रपति हामिद अंसारी की अध्यक्षता वाली समिति ने किया है। इस संबंध में सूचना एवं प्रसारण मंत्रालय को आदेश मिल चुका है।
   
• According to the global financial services major, after two consecutive months of sell-offs, FIIs have warmed up to Asian equities and all markets have received positive flows in November. Among Asian economies, China regained the top position as the 'most loved' market, pushing India down to second position in the region, while Thailand was placed at the third spot, it said.
  
  वित्तीय सेवा क्षेत्र की प्रमुख कंपनी, एचएसबीसी के मुताबिक लगातार दो महीने की बिकवाली के बाद विदेशी संस्थागत निवेशकों ने एशियाई शेयर बाजारों के प्रति अपना भरोसा जताया और सभी बाजारों में नवंबर के दौरान पूंजी प्रवाह हुआ। एशियाई अर्थव्यवस्थाओं में चीन सबसे लोकप्रिय बाजार के तौर पर शीर्ष पर रहा और भारत दूसरे जबकि थाइलैंड तीसरे स्थान पर रहा।
   
• Private sector major Kotak Mahindra Bank became the first bank to get the Reserve Bank of India's (RBI's) permission to set up a wholly-owned non-life insurance company. Kotak Mahindra said that it had already got in-principle approval from Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority.
  
  निजी क्षेत्र के प्रमुख कोटक महिंद्रा बैंक साधारण बीमा कारोबार में उतरने की तैयारी कर रहा है। इसके लिए भारतीय रिर्जव बैंक से उसे अनुमति मिल गई है। कोटक महिंद्रा ने कहा कि साधारण बीमा कंपनी शुरू करने के लिए बीमा नियामक एवं विकास प्राधिकरण (इरडा) से सैद्धांतिक मंजूरी पहले ही मिल गई थी और अब रिर्जव बैंक से भी अनुमति मिल गई है।
   
• Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar and senior Samajwadi Party leader Ram Gopal Yadav were among the 11 newly elected members of Rajya Sabha who took oath. ll the 11 members - 10 elected from Uttar Pradesh and one from Uttrakhand - took oath or affirmed their allegiance to the Constitution in Hindi.
  
  रक्षा मंत्री मनोहर पर्रिकर और सपा के वरिष्ठ नेता रामगोपाल यादव सहित 11 नवनिर्वाचित सदस्यों ने राज्यसभा में शपथ ली। इनमें से 10 उत्तर प्रदेश से जबकि एक सदस्य उत्तराखंड से निर्वाचित हुए हैं।

• Imaging and information technology solutions provider Ricoh India said that it has bagged a deal worth Rs. 1,370 crore with the Department of Posts to modernise post offices through automation. It has got the Rural ICT Project which has a duration of 5 years.
  
  रिको इंडिया को डाक विभाग के साथ स्वचालन के माध्यम से डाकघरों के आधुनिकीकरण के लिए भारत सरकार से एक ठेका मिला है। कंपनी को ग्रामीण सूचना एवं संचार तकनीक की 5 वर्षीय परियोजना के लिए 1,370 करोड़ रुपये का ठेका प्राप्त हुआ है।
   
• President Pranab Mukherjee on 23 November 2014 appointed West Bengal Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi to discharge the functions of Governor of Bihar in addition to his own duties. He will take the charge from Bihar Governor D Y Patil, who completes his tenure on 26 November 2014.
  
  वरिष्ठ भाजपा नेता व पश्चिम बंगाल के राज्यपाल के.सी. नाथ त्रिपाठी को 23 नवंबर 2014 को बिहार के राज्यपाल का अतिरिक्त प्रभार सौंपा गया है। गौरतलब है की बिहार के राज्यपाल डी वाई पाटिल का आगामी 26 नवम्बर को कार्यकाल पूरा हो रहा है।
   
• India said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold no dialogue with his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif at the 18th South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation summit in Nepal.
  
  भारत ने कहा कि 18वें दक्षेस सम्मेलन के इतर प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी और उनके पाकिस्तानी समकक्ष नवाज शरीफ के बीच औपचारिक बैठक की कोई योजना नहीं है।
